Evoke's 6th Annual Hike and Bike Fundraiser!

October 29, 2016

A very big "thank you" to all who supported So Others Might Eat (SOME) at Evoke's Annual Hike and Bike Fundraiser. For six years now, Evoke has gathered its employees, families, and friends for a fun-filled day of outdoor adventure at the Billy Goat Trail in Potomac, Maryland to promote camraderie and charitable work. Each year, Evoke selects a local non-profit organization to raise funds and awareness for and this year... Evoke selected So Others Might Eat (SOME). So Others Might Eat is a local organization that advocates for the mission to end poverty in Washington, DC through the provision of food supply, medical care, health services, clothing, and housing. At the Annual Hike and Bike, everyone was invited to enjoy the Billy Goat Trail on foot or on bike, and were then invited to join in a social at the Old Angler's Inn with food, music, entertainment for the kids, and a variety of interactive fundraising activities and donation stations. Evoke's Managing Partners, Jim and Greg, even went head-to-head in a competition to see who could raise the most money at the event with the losing individual getting pied in the face! Evoke is excited to announce that we have collectively raised $6,500 to support SOME and their frar-reaching efforts to alleviate poverty through service. We truly appreciate everyone for attending and making yet another Evoke Annual Hike and Bike Fundraiser a major success!
